Ways To Be Involved
The 27th International Montessori Congress, “Montessori: Guided by Nature,” will be held from July 31 – August 3, 2013 in Portland, Oregon USA.
OMA is working to support MINW and our Montessori community as we near the date for the International Congress. We can help find ways for your school and families to contribute. The 2013 International Congress will be an amazing event for the world – Visit MINW’s website to stay involved www.montessori-nw.org and visit the 2013 International Congress website: www.montessoricongress.org to learn when the next planning meeting is happening.
MINW is hosting meetings to discuss the planning stages – it’s not too early to get involved! The new drive is to “capture the congress” by sharing pictures of the Congress logo all around the world. You can nominate speakers through the Congress website, as well.
This Congress is an international event for the whole Montessori community – collaboration is happening across associations with all of the leaders in the Montessori movement. Portland is honored to be the chosen North American city – the first time the Congress has been in the USA in nearly 40 years.
