We ask that all ads be related to employment at Montessori schools, the selling or purchasing of Montessori materials, or other matters of general professional interest to our membership. We reserve the right to remove any ads that do not fall within these guidelines.

This is a support staff position for the Infant/Toddler classroom. Cascadia School is a private, non-profit Montessori school that opened in the fall of 1994 in Vancouver, WA. Cascadia offers multi-age learning environments for elementary and middle school age students, grades 1 through 8, on a beautiful 2.5-acre campus within easy commuting distance from Portland, OR. The Montessori House is a small learning community in the St Johns neighborhood of Portland, OR. We have had our primary community for 3 years and just added an infant environment in February. Next, we will be enrolling a small group of toddlers in April! Our community is growing and we are looking for compassionate and enthusiastic professionals to join us!
We are looking for part time assistants to start in our infant and toddler environments. Montessori experience and/or spanish speaking is preferred but not required. Must have experience working with infants and/or toddlers and be enrolled in the Central Background Registry. CPR and first aid training needs to be completed within the first six months of employment. Hours are 8 to 2. We will begin interviewing for these positions March 19th. One position will be filled by April 2nd, the other will start later this spring.
Our Children’s House has a unique opportunity for an AMI trained assistant. We are hoping to find somebody that will make a long term commitment to our community!
