Seeking an exceptional Head of School for Golden Oak Montessori, a first through eighth grade public charter on a four-acre campus in Castro Valley in the San Francisco Bay Area. The school, known affectionately as “GO Montessori” because of our entrepreneurial spirit and dedication to the Montessori philosophy, was established in 2009 by a group of parents and Montessori educators. Since its founding, the school has grown to 210 students in lower elementary, upper elementary, and a middle school, with a wait-list of over 100 students every year. Each of the ten multi-age classrooms is led by a Montessori-certified and State credentialed lead teacher and a full-time assistant.

As a charter school, GO has an independent board with the freedom and commitment needed to offer a genuine Montessori education for the public, without charging tuition.
