Whole Child Montessori Center in Southeast Portland seeks Primary AMI Guide for long-term sub position with possibility of long-term employment

Posted October 24, 2014

Whole Child Montessori Center is a small AMI school in SE Portland with two primary classrooms. Whole Child celebrated 30 years in 2013. We are seeking an AMI Guide to take over for a Guide taking early retirement. The class is well established with an experienced assistant. We would like someone who can start working now (or very soon)—at least part-time—observing the current Guide, shadowing her, getting to know the children, and learning the ways of our community. This long-term sub would step fully into the Guide position in January and finish the school year in mid-June. Whole Child will meanwhile conduct a broader search for the best possible candidate and long term fit for our school. The long-term sub will be included in this broader search and could potentially continue at Whole Child in the long-term Guide position.

Interested candidates please send a letter of introduction and resume to Head of School, Nancy Pribnow:
